Puttur: A 3 feet tall, 100 kg panchaloha idol of Sharada Mata built in Sringeri was recently successfully installed near Teetwal near Pakistan border. Thus, the place of worship of Saradadevi, which was a religious center of Hindus since the first century, then ruined by evil kings and Pak attacks, has been revived again, said Subrahmanya Nattoja, secretary of Ambika Group Educational Institutions..

He delivered a special lecture at Ambika Mahavidyalaya on the inauguration of the Sharda Temple at the Sharda Peetha in Kashmir.
Earlier, the surrounding of this temple was destroyed by fanatical kings. Later, during the Indo-Pakistani war, the temple was completely destroyed by Pakistani soldiers. The river Kishan Ganga flows right next to it and beyond it is the Pakistan occupied border. Just a stone’s throw away from the shrine is the territory of India encroached upon by Pakistan. The now established Sharda Mandir is seven kilometers away from the Sarvajna Peeth in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Now the idol of Mata Sarada has been installed in the place where Sri Shankaracharya who decorated the Sarvajna Peetha walked. He informed that with the cooperation of the Indian army officers, the puja functions were held in the temple.
After the destruction of the temple, the local Kashmiri Pandits also stayed away from the place. But now they are coming back to the temple. The temple was built under the leadership of Rabindra Pandit. What is special is that the local Muslims have also joined hands in the construction of this temple.
Very few Hindus attended the inauguration. He explained that an elderly couple from Tamil Nadu had also come to Thitwal for worship.
Manifestation of Divine Power:
There was a severe earthquake near Titwal, and there was a strong earthquake the day before the inauguration. 66 intensity was recorded on the Richter scale. We were sleeping at night and ran out of the house. But the fact that there was no problem despite such a severe earthquake is a proof of divine power showing its miracle, he informed.
On this occasion, Principal Rakesh Kumar Kammaje, Administrator of Ambika Educational Institutions Ganesh Prasad, heads of various departments, lecturers and students participated.
