Students demand for resumption of bus service in Puttur

Puttur: Students of Bettampadi Government First Class College staged a protest near the Amar Jawan Memorial Jyoti on Tuesday morning, demanding the resumption of bus service which had been suspended due to the construction of the bridge.

Rakshit Rai, president of the college student union, who addressed the protest, said that there was a bus run between Puttur and Renja. Bus traffic was curtailed for bridge construction work. The bridge work has now been completed. The link road is in good condition. However, bus connectivity has not been reimagined. He complained that this made it difficult for students to come to college. He complained that this made it difficult for students to come to college.
KSRTC is responsible for the distribution of students. Hundreds of students are traveling on this road for their studies. Therefore, like before, the bus leaving Sulyapada via Renja route at 8 in the morning for Puttur and the bus plying from Puttur to Sulyapada at 4.15 in the evening should be reconsidered.
Student Union Vice President Sinchana, Secretary Harishchandra and others were present in the protest.
