Free eye checkup camp held at Puttur on monday

Puttur: Rotary Club Puttur Central, D.K. District Marathi Conservation Committee under the joint auspices of Puttur Municipal Council and Government Hospital organized a free eye check-up camp on Monday at Municipal Council building.

 

Municipal Council President Jeevandhar Jain lit the lamp and inaugurated and said that people are taking precautionary measures for their health after Covid. Even though he is busy, he is not maintaining his health and needs to improve his diet. In this regard, the city council has participated in the first camp, he said.
Ro.A. Jagjivandas Rai, Assistant Governor of Rotary Zone 5, said that currently Rotary is working to provide health benefits by participating in various health camps. He also said that it has been giving health supplements. Municipal Commissioner Madhu S. Manohar wished good luck as the chief guest. Rotary Club Central President Mohammed Rafique welcomed. Secretary Chandrahasa Shetty narrated the program. DK District Marathi Conservation Committee President Ashok Naik thanked. Later, the staff along with the city council officers did a visual inspection.
