Puttur: Congress candidate Ashok Kumar Rai has maintained a huge lead in the election vote count. Securing 8666 votes, he retained the first position.
Arun Kumar Puttila, a non-party candidate, secured second place and got 6495 votes.
BJP candidate Asha Thimmappa is in third position and has got 4513 votes. A total of 20357 votes have already been cast. Divyaprabha Chiltadka got 75 votes, Vishu Kumar got 71 votes and Shafi Bellare got zero votes.
