Puttur: Congress candidate Ashok Kumar Rai has secured 12541 votes in the 3rd round of counting. All the candidates opened accounts in the 3rd round and 111 votes were cast for NOTA.
A total of 30332 votes were counted, in which the non-party candidate Arun Kumar Puttila is second with 10223 votes.
BJP candidate Asha Thimmappa got 6452 votes, Divya Prabha Chiltadka of JDS got 118 votes, Vishu Kumar of AAP got 104 votes, Shafi Bellare of SDPI got 603 votes. Ivan Ferrao got 69 votes, Sundara Koila got 111.
