Puttur: In the 6th round, Arun Kumar Puttila secured 23102 votes and gave a strong fight to Ashok Kumar Rai.

Ashok Kumar Rai polled 24592 votes, reducing the margin of victory to 1490 votes.
BJP got 15350 votes. 273 votes were obtained in favor of NOTA. A total of 65377 votes have been counted.
