Puttur: Teja Chinmaya Holla, a 10th-class student of Vivekananda English Medium School, who participated in the national level Kalotsava and participated in the Prime Minister’s Test Pay Debate program, has received Pratibha Sammanam at School Yadavshree Hall on Friday.
Dr. KM Krishna Bhat, secretary of Vivekananda Vidyawardaka Sangh, spoke as the chief guest, saying that talent is like a lamp. When the lamp shines, it becomes important. Recognizing and honoring talent is an unforgettable moment, he said.
Puttur Taluk Physical Education Inspector Sundara Gowda said that the role of parents and teachers is important in identifying and nurturing talent.
Naveen Bhandari, Executive Officer of Puttur Taluk Panchayat said that the talent of one student is a role model and recognition for others.
Tejachinmaya Hola, who received the award, remembered those who patted him on the back and shared his experience of meeting the Prime Ministers.
Vivekananda Vidyavardhak Sangh Director Muralidhar K, Vivekananda English Medium School Management Board President Dr. Shivaprakash M wished him well. Teja Chinmaya’s parents Harish Holla, Dr. Suchitra Holla, Puttur Rotary East President Sarath Kumar Rai, Vivekananda English Medium School Head Teacher Satish Kumar Rai, teachers Mamata, Sandhya, School Guardian-Teacher Association President Shanti Shenai were present on the stage.
Ravi Narayan M, Managing Board of Vivekananda English Medium School gave an introductory speech and welcomed the students. Fellow teachers Anuradha and Yashoda recited their own poetry and conducted the program. Fellow students sang a congratulatory song. Teacher Venkatesh Prasad gave the vote of thanks.
