Puttur: In the 42nd National Masters Athletics organized by the Karnataka Masters Athletics Association at the Kantheerava Stadium, Bangalore from March 27 to 30, Venkatesh Prasad, a Sanskrit teacher of Puttur Vivekananda English Medium School, Puttur taluk, Darbettad, won a bronze medal in the 45-year-old high jump.
He is a senior student of Darbettadka Government Higher Primary School, Pernaje Sri Seetaraghava Undergraduate College and Saint Philomena’s College, Puttur.
Tenkila Vivekananda has been serving as a Sanskrit teacher in English Medium School for the past 15 years.
